Rockstar Games has unveiled Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album, a 34-song collection featuring original music from Keith Richards, Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, and others, arriving November 19 alongside the digital-only game.
Rockstar Games has announced Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album, a 34-song companion soundtrack that will arrive on November 19, the same day the highly anticipated game launches digitally for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The album, released in partnership with Atlantic Records, features original music from a wide roster of artists including Keith Richards, Travis Scott, Yung Lean, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso.
The announcement carries an ironic twist for fans frustrated by the game's digital-only release. While GTA 6 itself will not be available on a physical disc, the soundtrack will receive multiple physical editions at retailers. A limited-edition vinyl set priced at $125 includes two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid, along with exclusive artwork. A standard double LP vinyl edition will sell for $50, and a double CD version will be available for $20. Preorders for all versions are now open.
Six debut singles from the album are available to stream today. They include Yung Lean's «That's It» featuring Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott's «RHYNO» produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, «Sexy Magic» by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso with PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy, Morgan Wallen's «Last Thing You Need,» Rauw Alejandro's «Macacoa 2000,» and Keith Richards' «Bright Lights, Big City.» The remaining 28 tracks will be announced at a later date.
The soundtrack announcement follows a wave of teasers from Spotify and various artists across social media and billboards in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, which hinted that something was in the works. Rockstar has indicated that more music-related news is coming, including details about the game's dynamic score and the next evolution of its in-game radio.
Music has long been a defining feature of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, which is known for its extensive in-game radio stations featuring licensed tracks from world-famous artists. Previous rumors suggested that DJ Khaled and Drake might host their own in-game radio stations, though Rockstar has not confirmed those reports. The album's release in partnership with Atlantic Records marks a significant expansion of the franchise's musical ambitions.
The decision to release the soundtrack physically while keeping the game digital has drawn attention, particularly after Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick defended the company's choice to skip a disc release for GTA 6, stating that discs «don't really make sense for the consumer.» The limited-edition vinyl, with its liquid-filled discs, appears designed to appeal to collectors who still value physical media.
Grand Theft Auto 6: The Album is now available for pre-save on major streaming services, and physical editions can be preordered at retailers. The game launches November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
