The U.S. State Department has announced a reward of up to $20 million for those who provide information about Iran's nuclear program. The offer was made public by the agency through the Rewards for Justice program, and the announcement appeared on the agency's account on X.

The program is seeking information on nuclear scientists, employees and other personnel, as well as on technologies and capabilities related to the program, and on organizations involved in it. Tips can be sent through the secure Signal app or through a Tor-based messaging line. Individuals who become informants may be offered relocation.

The announcement came as President Donald Trump considers resuming military strikes on Iran. According to sources, Trump held a meeting with his national security team to weigh this decision and has not yet decided whether to go beyond the previous strikes.

Meanwhile, nuclear negotiations between Washington and Tehran are ongoing, but they have reportedly reached a deadlock. It was also reported that Iranian negotiators had been expelled from the United States. Trump stated that Iran will never be allowed to build a nuclear weapon, while promising to refrain from strikes until the midterm congressional elections.

U.S. officials indicated that the period of the new moon on November 9 is considered favorable for possible operations. U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) is finalizing preparations for a possible resumption of large-scale operations, although one U.S. official said no new directive has yet been received from Washington.

It is currently unclear whether strikes will resume and, if so, when. It is also unknown how many informants or tips the reward offer will generate.
