Tiffany Stratton Wins Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match for Second Time

ReTiffany Stratton Wins Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match for Second Time

Tiffany Stratton survived a series of dangerous falls to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase at WWE's event in New Orleans, becoming the second woman ever to win the match twice.

Tiffany Stratton emerged victorious from a chaotic women's Money in the Bank ladder match, securing the briefcase and a guaranteed championship opportunity. The win marks her second time capturing the briefcase, making her only the second woman in WWE history to achieve that feat. She previously won in 2024 and successfully cashed in on Nia Jax to claim the WWE Women's Championship.

The match, held at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, featured Stratton alongside Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, and Lash Legend. Each competitor pushed the boundaries of risk, creating a level of danger that had the crowd holding its breath. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul «Triple H» Levesque had predicted earlier that the night would be one where fans would «hold my breath until it's over,» and the women's ladder match delivered on that promise.

Stratton's path to victory was far from smooth. Early in the contest, she attempted a swanton dive from the tallest ladder outside the ring, aiming to take out Legend, Ruca, Perez, and Vice below. However, she appeared to lack enough momentum on the flip. Her legs caught the wrestlers beneath her, but her head slammed onto the padded floor. The crowd fell silent as officials rushed to check on her. Stratton sat up and held her head for several moments, but somehow managed to continue and eventually win the match.

The heart-stopping moments continued when Sol Ruca executed a frog splash off the top turnbuckle onto Lash Legend, who was sprawled on a ladder wedged between the ring apron and the announce table. The impact sent both competitors crashing through the ladder. Legend writhed in pain on the ground while Ruca took a moment on her back to recover.

Later, Jacy Jayne climbed a ladder to reach for the briefcase, but Lola Vice caught her in a chokehold from behind. The two fell backward onto a perpendicular ladder, which tipped upward instead of breaking. They slid down it and out of the ring, landing hard on the floor. Both seemed to be okay but were no longer factors in the final scramble.

Ruca had a strong opportunity to grab the briefcase herself. She and Stratton fought atop the ladder until Jayne reappeared and pushed the ladder down. Stratton narrowly avoided getting tangled in the ropes, while Ruca hung onto the hook that held the briefcase. She then dropped from the hanger, landing on top of Jayne, Stratton, and Legend. In the end, Stratton was the last one standing, grabbing the briefcase to secure her second Money in the Bank victory.

With the win, Stratton now holds a guaranteed title shot at any time of her choosing, making her a dangerous threat to the current champion. Her ability to withstand punishment and seize the moment has once again positioned her at the top of the women's division.
